Most gamers reacted positively to the aesthetic design and action-packed gameplay of Atomic Heart, comparing it to 2007’s Bioshock (often regarded as one of the best video games of all time). Atomic Heart received generally positive reviews, but controversy erupted in the weeks preceding its release over claims that it had Pro-Russian sympathies and Russian funding. The much-anticipated first-person shooter is set in an alternate timeline where the Soviet Union achieved spectacular technological advancements in the wake of World War II. To be clear, I am being objective about those 2 points I mentioned. After five long years of development, video game developer Mundfish finally released Atomic Heart on Feb. Now, as for the shadiness and the Financing? I've got no idea, and if they continued to take money from companies that profit from the war, it would be pretty messed up. considering they are kinda under threat by having so many employees in Moscow? Is about the best we can expect. In fact, Mundfish has done a fairly decent job of working pretty hard to AVOID saying anything supporting Russia, and their vague tweets could easily be interpreted as chastisement against Russia, which. Does ANYONE think Putin's goons wouldn't be totally willing to "vanish" some employees of mundfish if the company DID publically condemn Russia? But if you have an office with employees inside of Moscow, that's basically a hostage situation. I'm happily able to condemn Putin's idiocy. No more than Bioshock Infinite "Glorified" colonial America (by which I mean it portrayed colonial America as a creepy hell scape) or how Bioshock "Glorified" Andrew Ryan's hyper capitalism (it definitely did not lol) We have no idea, completely depends on the story.
